ABOUT ME
As a therapist and as a human, I’m a big fan of the Serenity Prayer: Grant me the serenity to
accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to
know the difference. I am here to help you harness the courage to change. In my practice, I seek to foster compassion, creativity, and authenticity. I want each client to feel a new freedom: to choose how she responds to life, rather than feeling overwhelmed by emotions or stuck in unhealthy patterns.
While I work with clients with varied needs,
I specialize in treating three universal sources of pain: Grief, Trauma, and Addiction. Pain
isolates us and keeps us from living fully. As an EMDR therapist and Grief Recovery specialist, I
use evidence-based techniques to reduce that isolation and inhibition. As a clinician who holds
an advanced degree in Creative Writing, I love to use art as a tool for self-exploration.
